  • Free Christmas Tree Recycling - Mason County announces free Christmas tree recycling (12/20/2016)
  • 2017 Water and Sewer Utility System Rate and Fee Increases - Per Mason County resolution #146-08, and resolution #05-09, all water and sewer rates and fees at the Mason County owned and operated Rustlewood, Beards Cove, and North Bay Case Inlet water and sewer systems will increase by 2.5% for the 2017 calendar year. The increase corresponds to the April 2016 consumer price increase (CPI-U) for the Bremerton Area for the one year period ending April 2016. (12/20/2016)

  • Mason County Removes Longstanding Cloud on Title to Squaxin Island Tidelands - On October 25, 2016, the Mason County Commissioners voted to correct a century-old error surrounding 29.21 acres of tidelands on Squaxin Island.   • Culvert construction temporarily shifts State Route 3 in Belfair - Temporary changes are coming to a section of State Route 3 in Belfair. Beginning the morning of Tuesday, June 14, drivers will notice lanes realigned on a temporarily-widened portion of the highway near Romance Hill.
