Transportation Improvement Program
Citizen Advisory Panel
The Board of County Commissioners recognizes the added value associated with public involvement during the preparation of transportation improvement plans, and specifically the Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program (6-Year TIP).
The Board first established TIP-CAP in 1999 by resolution to increase public involvement and bring forward a community voice for transportation needs. Members have met regularly over the years, with the exception of 2013-2014 when Commissioners began a thorough review of the 6-Year TIP process. As a result, Commissioners reaffirmed the value and importance of citizen involvement and adopted Resolution 53-14 spelling out TIP-CAP membership, mission, goals and charge.
TIP-CAP meetings are open to the public. If you have an interest in your County’s transportation plans and needs, your attendance is welcome!
