Elective Office: Mason County Commissioner 2017-2020;

Commissioner Shutty represents Mason County by serving on a variety of boards, councils, and commissions as noted below:

Civic Activities

Kevin has served as a member of the Mason County Planning Advisory Commission, Vice Chair of the North Mason Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee and is a member of the Shelton Health and Recreation Center Finance Committee.

Employment

Prior to serving on the BOCC, Kevin has worked as a Public Information Officer and Outreach Coordinator for the Washington State House of Representatives, where he also previously served as a Legislative Assistant. Kevin has also worked as a high school history teacher and while attending college he worked as a Legal Assistant for the Pennsylvania State Police.
