It is the mission of Environmental Health to serve the residents of Mason County under the direction and guidance of Mason County Board of Health by conducting activities designed to protect public health through control of key environmental factors, including by not limited to, drinking water, solid waste, food, sewage, vectors, and chemical/physical hazards. Where the scope of these activities is limited by resources or jurisdictional boundaries, Environmental Health will cooperate and coordinate where appropriate with other public and private agencies.
