Mason County Public Health, Community and Family Health issues certified birth certificates daily for persons born in the State of Washington on or after 1927*. Certified copies of birth certificates are $20.00 each (pre-paid).

Certificates applied for any time before 3:00 pm can be picked up after 4:00 pm the same day. Certificates applied for after 3:00 pm will be available for pick up after 4:00 pm the following business day. Applications received in the mail will be issued and mailed the following business day. (Allow 3-4 weeks for newborns.) Please note that the Personal Health Department is closed between 12:00 n and 1:00 pm.
