Chairperson John A. Bolender called the special meeting to order at 1:03 p.m. Commissioner Mary Jo Cady was in attendance. Commissioner Cynthia D. Olsen was on excused absence.

HEARINGS ESTABLISHED
Gary Yando, Utilities/Waste Management Director, recommended the Board set a public hearing to consider a planning-only grant in the amount of $24,000 from Community Development Block Grant funds. The funds would be for a feasibility study of the "Old Allyn" area water system.
Cmmr. Cady/Bolender moved and seconded to schedule a public hearing on Tuesday, November 14, 2000 at 9:45 a.m. at which time the Board will hear input related to the proposed feasibility study for the "Old Allyn" area water system. Motion carried unanimously. B-aye; C-aye; O-absent.
Mr. Yando also requested the Board establish a hearing for consideration of a grant application in the amount of $750,000 for the Belfair Water Reclamation Facility/Sewer Collection System.
Cmmr. Cady/Bolender moved and seconded to schedule a public hearing for Tuesday, November 14, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. at which time we will hear input related to the CDBG grant application related to the Belfair Water Reclamation Facility/Sewer Collection System. Motion carried unanimously. B-aye; C-aye; O-absent.
