Chairperson John A. Bolender called the special meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. Commissioners Cynthia D. Olsen and Mary Jo Cady were in attendance.
B U S I N E S S
ROAD CLOSURE
Jerry Hauth, Public Works, requested permission to close Belfair-Tahuya Road from milepost 9.98 to milepost 10.12 on July 10 through July 14 to facilitate the replacement of an existing culvert in Stimson Creek at milepost 10.08.
Cmmr. Olsen/Cady moved and seconded to approve Resolution No. 58-00 to close Belfair Tahuya Road from milepost 9.98 to milepost 10.12 beginning at 8:00 a.m. Monday, July 10 through 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2000 to remove and replace a large culvert in Stimson Creek. Motion carried unanimously. B-aye; O-aye; C-aye. Resolution No. 58-00 (Exhibit A)
MAINTENANCE I
Cmmr. Cady/Olsen moved and seconded to authorize Mike Rutter, Facilities & Grounds, to post, advertise, interview, and hire for a Maintenance I position to fill an existing position that was vacated. Motion carried unanimously. B-aye; O-aye; C-aye.
